Winners Announced For 2012 Piedmont Business Ethics Award
GREENSBORO - The Piedmont Business Ethics Awards celebrated ethics in business at an awards ceremony at Starmount Forest Country Club on Wednesday, April 25. Over 150 civic and professional members were in attendance when Graphic Visual Solutions, R & R Transportation, Zaki Oriental Rugs were announced as 2012 winners at the 12th annual event. Excel Moving and Storage of Greensboro was awarded "Finalist with Distinction."
The Piedmont Business Ethics Awards also honored all 2012 finalists and include: Appian Digital, Express Employment Professionals, Logan HVAC, Mother Murphy's Laboratories, Sheetz, Inc, and Woodbine.
Established locally in 2000, the Piedmont Business Ethics Awards and its counterpart at the national level honor companies that demonstrate a firm commitment to ethical business practices in everyday operations, management philosophies, and responses to crises or challenges. An independent panel of judges drawn from Piedmont academia evaluated all of the local companies which entered the 2012 competition.
The awards ceremony sponsored by the Greensboro Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals in partnership with Davenport, Marvin, Joyce & Co., LLP and DMJ Wealth Advisors, LLC and BB&T.
The Society's Greensboro Chapter is part of a national network of more than 180 SFSP chapters. Founded in 1928, the Society has nearly 15,000 members nationwide who help families, individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. Society members have earned recognized professional credentials in the financial services industry or are working towards attaining a professional credential. Society members can assist their clients with estate planning, retirement and financial counseling, employee benefits, business and compensation planning and life, health, disability income and long-term care insurance needs.
